This white maple board is inlaid with black walnut and bloodwood strips to add the perfect contrasting accent to the beautiful maple grain structure.

The bloodwood or "Satine" tree is native to South America and is known for its vivid, deep red color and its durability.  It pairs well with a North American "fan favorite" Black Walnut, famous for its rich chocolate-brown color.
